The Indian Bank invites applications from Indian Citizens for the post of Specialist Officers in Senior Management Grade.

Eligibility:
  • Asst. General Manager (Treasury) – Graduation; Preference will be given to candidates with professional qualification; Minimum 10 years experience in relevant area.
  • Asst. General Manager (Accounts / Taxation) - Chartered Accountant; Minimum 10 years experience in relevant area.
  • Asst. General Manager (Human Resources) - PG Degree / PG Diploma in Personnel Management / Industrial Relation / HRD / Social Work / Labor Law / MBA with HRM as specialization; A degree in Law will be given preference; Minimum 10 years experience in relevant area.
  • Chief Manager (Credit) - CA / CFA / PG Degree or PG Diploma in Management subjects; Minimum 8 years experience in relevant area.
  • Chief Manager (Planning / Budget) - Post Graduate in Economics / Econometrics preferably MBA with specialization in finance; Minimum 8 years experience in relevant area.
  • Chief Manager (Risk Management) - MBA (Finance) with Risk Management as a subject; Minimum 8 years experience in relevant area.
  • Chief Manager (Chartered Accountant) - Graduate with a pass in the final examination of  the Institute of Chartered Accountant of India; Minimum 8 years experience in relevant area.
  • All educational qualifications, graduation / post graduation etc. should be from a University recognized by Government of India. Technical qualification (B.E, B.Tech, MBA etc.) should be from an institution accredited by AICTE / recognized by UGC wherever applicable.
  •  Any Degree / Engineering Degree wherever mentioned should be full time course only.
  • The experience in years should be post qualification experience on full time basis.
  • Candidates must possess the prescribed qualifications/experience as on July 1, 2012.
  • The candidates applying for all posts/scales should have proficiency in appropriate computer skills/working knowledge of application packages used in office automation/computer environment.
Age limit: Maximum 45 years for Asst. General Manager and 40 years for Chief Manager.

Pay Scale:
  • For Asst. General Manager (Scale V) - `36200 -1000/2 – 38200 - 1100/2- 40400
  • For Chief Manager (Scale IV) - `30600- 900/4 – 34200 – 1000/2 – 36200

  • The Demand Draft should be drawn on Chennai in favor of ‘Indian Bank – Recruitment of Specialist Officers - Nov 2012’ for `400 (General and OBC candidates) and `50 (SC/ST/PWD candidates).
  • The envelope containing the application should be superscribed as – ‘Application for the post of __ in Indian Bank.’
