Recruitment of OCTT/OCT/ACTT inSAIL-ISP, Burnpur


IISCO Steel Plant (ISP), a unit of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), invites applications for the non-executive posts of Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee), Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) and Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler Operation).

Position and vacancies:
  • Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) – 300 posts (Mechanical-75, Electrical-75, Metallurgy-40, Electronics-35, Instrumentation-35, Chemical-20, Ceramics-10, Civil-10)
  • Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) – 300 posts (Fitter-95, Electrician-80, Welder-30, Air-conditioning/Refrigeration-20, Draughtsman-10, Electronic Mechanic-30, Machinist-10, Turner-10, Instrument Mechanics-5, IT & ESM-10)

Eligibility:
  • Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) – 3 years full time Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Metallurgy/ Chemical/ Ceramics/ Civil, and Instrumentation discipline from Govt. Recognized Institute.
  • Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) – Matriculation and ITI in Fitter/ Welder/ Electrician/ Air conditioning / Refrigeration/ Draughtsman/ Machinist/ Turner/ Instrument Mechanic/ Electronic Mechanic / IT & ESM trades from Govt. Recognised Institute.
  • Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler Operation) – 3 years full time Diploma in engineering from Govt. Recognised Institute with 2nd Class or 1st Class Certificate of Boiler Competency.
Age limit:
  • OCTT/ACTT – Maximum 28 years for General, 31 for OBC, 33 for SC/ST, 10 years age relaxation for PWD candidates.
  • OCT(Boiler) -- Maximum 30 years for General, 33 for OBC, 35 for SC/ST, 10 years age relaxation for PWD candidates.
