Oil is recruiting Graduate Engineers as Officers through GATE-2013 in the
following engineering disciplines-- Civil Engineering (excluding Construction/Environmental/Transportation Engineering)
 - Chemical Engineering (including Petrochemicals Engineering)
 - Computer Science & Information Technology (excluding Information & Communications Technology)
 - Electrical Engineering (including Electrical & Electronics Engineering but excluding Electrical & Communication/Telecommunication Engineering)
 - Instrumentation Engineering (including Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering but excluding Electronics & Communication Engineering/Telecommunication Engineering)
 - Mechanical Engineering (excluding Production/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering)
 - Metallurgical Engineering
 
Position: Officers/Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs)
Vacancies: 250
Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology in the concerned discipline as mentioned above.
 - Minimum 65% marks in qualifying degree examination for General/OBC-NC candidates.
 - For SC/ST/PWD candidates, the minimum marks is relaxed to just being a ‘pass’ in the qualifying examination.
 
Salary: Candidates selected as GAEs for
one-year apprenticeship training will be paid a consolidated stipend `35000 p.m.  Upon successful completion of apprenticeship
training, they will be appointed as Officers 
with the starting basic pay of `24900
p.m. along with other allowances as per the Company rules.
