CSIR
will hold the Joint CSIR-UGC Test for determining the eligibility of the Indian
National candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) NET and
for determining eligibility for appointment of Lecturers (NET) in certain
subject areas falling under the faculty of Science & Technology on June 23,
2013.
Eligibility:
BS-4
years program/ BE/ BTech/ BPharma/ MBBS/ Integrated BS-MS/ MSc or equivalent
degree with at least 55% marks for general and OBC (50% for SC/ST candidates,
physically and Visually Handicapped candidates).
Age limit: Maximum 28 years for JRF as on January 1, 2013 (age relaxation applicable by 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/PH/females and visually handicapped candidates); No age limit for LS.
How
to apply:
- Candidates may obtain the Information Bulletin and Application forms from designated branches of Indian Bank and Oriental Bank of Commerce on payment of `400 for General, `200 for OBC and `100 for SC/ST/PH/VH candidates.
- The information Bulletin and Application form may also be obtained through Value Payable Post (V.P.P.) from the Indian Bank, 3/1, West Patel Nagar, New Delhi - 110 008, by sending a crossed Demand draft for `400, `200 or `100 (as the case may be) drawn in favour of ‘Indian Bank, West Patel Nagar, New Delhi’ payable at New Delhi
- Interested & eligible candidates may apply for this test Online through a link available at CSIR, HRDG website -- www.csirhrdg.res.in.
- In order to apply online the candidates are required to download Bank challan performa from the above website and then deposit the requisite examination fee in any of the Indian Bank branches throughout the country. The printout of submitted application form along with all the relevant documents must be sent to -- Sr. Controller of Examination, Human Resource Development Group, Examination Unit, CSIR Complex, Library Avenue, Pusa, New Delhi-110012
Online
submission of application and fees deposits starts from February 5, 2013.
Last
date for online fees deposit and submission of application forms is March 15,
2013.
Last
date for receipt of completed applications in Examination Unit is March 19,
2013 (March 23, 2013 for remote areas).
