National Rural Health Mission (NRHM), Uttar Pradesh
is looking for motivated, experienced trainers to contribute time and effort to
the important task of training ASHAs. On behalf of NRHM, UP the National Health
Systems Resource Center invites application from trainers to train ASHA
trainers (district and sub district level) at state training sites across Uttar
Pradesh. The trainers will be engaged on a per day basis with assured
engagement of 20 to 25 days per month, for atleast 15 months.
Position and vacancies: State Trainers for ASHA Trainings in NRHM, Uttar Pradesh
Eligibility:
- Should have substantial experience in training and with a nursing/clinical background, medical degree/ diploma in nursing with at least 7 to 10 years experience as a trainer; Retired staff nurse/ANM/Tutors could also be considered OR Graduate from NGOs having experience as a trainer in social mobilization/community health worker training
- Willingness to work as a trainer in the programme for at least twenty four months
- Willing to travel to districts for about seven days a month for supporting ASHA training as required.
- Ability to stay committed to a rigorous training programme.
- Understanding and empathy for rural and poor women.
- Women trainers preferred.
