The SAAR
Chitra Sethia Music Scholarships provide support to genuine students of Indian Music
struggling to reach their full potential due to lack of funding. The scholarships
enable students to continue learning from an established music teacher or at a recognized
institution.
The
scholarship will be assigned on annual basis. The total fund is of Rs.50 lakhs
each year and will be disbursed through four scholarships:
- Rs.10
lakhs for student of Sarod
- Rs.10
lakhs for student of Santoor
- Rs.10
lakhs for student of Shehnai
- Rs.20
lakhs for student of Classical Hindustani Vocal Singing
