Qualification:
- Senior Resident -- MBBS with PG Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized University in the relevant field; Candidates must have valid MCI registration.
- Specialist -- PG Degree/ Diploma in concerned specialty from recognized University with 3 years/ 5 years working experience after PG Degree/ Diploma respectively; Candidates must have valid MCI registration.
- Senior Resident -- Upper age limit is 33 years for candidates who have completed their post-graduation diploma and 35 years for candidates who have completed their post-doctoral degree as on April 30, 2013.
- Specialist -- Upper age limit is 45 and 60 years for full time and part time, respectively, as on April 30, 2013.
- Age relaxation -- 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC & 5 years for PWD (10 years for SC/ST & 8 years for OBC).
- Senior Residents/ Specialist (Full time) – PB Rs.15600–39100 + GP Rs6600 + NPA & other allowances as admissible to Central Government employees of equivalent grade pay and as specifically revised from time to time.
- Specialist (Part Time) -- Consolidated pay of Rs.40000 + Rs.8000 for emergency calls, on giving a written undertaking.
