Qualification:

• Principal – BDS Degree from a recognized University with Post Graduate qualification/ Diplomate of National Board in any one Dental subject/ specialty; Not less than 5 years of teaching experience as Professor in a Dental College.
•  Professor – BDS Degree from a recognized University with Post Graduate qualification/ Diplomate of National Board in the Dental subject/ specialty; Not less than 5 years of teaching experience as Reader/ Associate Professor in a Dental College.
• Associate Professor/ Reader – BDS Degree from a recognized University with Post Graduate qualification/ Diplomate of National Board in the Dental subject/ specialty; 4 years of teaching experience after Post Graduation in a Dental College.
• Assistant Professor/ Lecturer – MDS Degree from a recognized University with Post Graduate qualification/ Diplomate of National Board in the Dental subject/ specialty; 4 years of teaching experience after Post Graduation in a Dental College.
• Tutors – BDS Degree from a recognized University; 1 year experience.

Upper age limit: Principal – 50 years; Professor – 50 years; Associate Professor/ Reader – 45 years; Assistant Professor/ Lecturer – 45 years; Tutors – 35 years; Age relaxation applicable as per rules.


Salary: Principal/Professor – Rs. 37400-67000 + GP Rs.10000 + NPA & other allowances; Associate Professor/ Reader – Rs. 37400-67000 + GP Rs.7000 + NPA & other allowances; Assistant Professor/ Lecturer – Rs. 15600-39100 + GP Rs.7000 + NPA & other allowances; Tutors – Rs. 15600-39100 + GP Rs.5400 + NPA & other allowances.
