The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) invites applications
from meritorious Sportspersons for the posts of Assistants/ Office Attendant in
various offices of the Bank.
Position and vacancies: Assistants/ Office Attendant – 50 posts (Cricket-Men – 18; Football-Men –
9; Badminton-Men – 8; Carrom-Men – 1; Carrom-Women – 2; Table Tennis-Men – 8;
Table Tennis – 4)
Eligibility: Assistants – Bachelors degree in any discipline; Office Attendant – Minimum
10th pass
Age limit: 18-26 years of age i.e. born between 02/03/1987 and 01/03/1995; Age relaxation applicable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC
Salary: Assistants – Pay Scale of `8040-20100, at present the initial gross emoluments
is approx. `19340; Office Attendant – Pay Scale of `6350-13750, at present the initial gross emoluments
is approx. `14378
How to apply:
- Application (preferably typewritten on a plain A4 size paper) should contain the following details – Name in full (in block letters); Full residential address; Date of Birth; Place of Birth; Educational qualifications; Name of school/college last attended; Technical qualifications; if any; Employment exchange registration number, if any; whether belongs to SC/ST/OBC (attach photocop of certificates); Proficiency in sports – name of sport, specialization, participation in sports events (indicating particulars of sports events and nature of representation); Particulars of past and present employment; Signature of applicant and date.
- Latest passport sized photograph should be affixed on right top-hand corner of the application.
- Photocopies of all the relevant documents regarding educational qualifications, caste certificate and proficiency in games should be attached along with the application.
- Application fees of `100 should be sent in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘Reserve Bank of India’ payable at the respective Recruitment Zone centre.
- Application should be sent by ordinary post to the following address – The Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Recruitment Section of the respective Recruitment Zone centre.
