Field Investigators vacancies in National Sample Survey Office, Uttar Pradesh

The National Sample Survey Office (Field Operations Division), Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation, Government of India, invites applications from Indian citizens for the engagement of Field Investigators on purely contract basis in the Regional Office of the National Sample Survey Office (Field Operations Division), Agra (Code-0910) and its Sub-Regional Offices located in Aligarh (Code-0911) and Meerut (Code-0912).

The selected candidates will be responsible for conduct of field surveys of National Sample Survey Office (NSSO) in rural and urban areas.

Eligibility:

• Graduate degree from a recognized University with Statistics/ Mathematics/ Economics as one of the papers at the degree level.
• Knowledge of English and local language.
• Knowledge of computer applications like MS Office, etc.
• Experience in conducting field surveys and field data collection work in Govt. organization will be desirable.

Age limit: Between 21 to 30 years of age as on April 1, 2013. Age relaxation applicable as per Govt. rules.

Salary: Consolidated remuneration of `15000 p.m. along with TA/DA while on tour.
