Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR is a lead Centre of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) situated at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh.  Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR (SDSC SHAR) has facilities of Solid Propellant Production, a Rocket Motor Static Test Facility and Launch Complexes for variety of rockets, Telemetry, Telecommand, Tracking, Data Acquisition and processing facilities and other support services.

Eligibility:

• Technical Assistant (Electronics & Communications) - First Class Diploma in Electronics and Communications Engineering from a recognized University/Institution
• Technical Assistant (Electrical & Electronics) - First Class Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized University/Institution
•  Technical Assistant (Chemical) - First Class Diploma in Chemical Engineering from a recognized University/Institution
• Technical Assistant (Photography) - First Class Diploma in Photography/Cinematography from a recognized University/Institution
• Scientific Assistant (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) - First Class B.Sc. with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry from a recognized University/Institution 
• Scientific Assistant (Computer Science & Mathematics) - First Class B.Sc. with Computer Science & Mathematics from a recognized University/Institution
• Scientific Assistant (Library Science) - Graduate in First Class; First Class Master’s Degree in Library Science/Library & Information Science or equivalent
• Trained Graduate Teacher (Social Studies) - Four years integrated degree course of Regional Colleges of Education of NCERT in the Geography subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate or Second Class Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the Geography, History and in aggregate including elective and languages; B.Ed. or equivalent from a recognized university; Proficiency in teaching through Hindi and English.
• Trained Graduate Teacher (Drawing) - 5 years’ Recognized Diploma in Drawing and Painting/ Sculpture/ Graphic Art or 4 Years’ Diploma in Fine Arts and Crafts from Viswa Bharati, Shanti Niketan or Diploma in Fine Arts from Govt. of School of Arts and Crafts, Patna or M.A. in Drawing and Painting from Agra University, Agra or Equivalent recognized Degree or B.Ed. Degree/Diploma in Fine Arts from Regional colleges of Education.
• Primary Teacher (Music) - Degree in Music from a recognized University or Higher Secondary with any of the following viz. Sangeet Visharad of Gandharav Maha Vidyalaya. Bombay or Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapeeth, Lucknow or Indira Kala Sangeet Viswa Vidyalaya, Khairagarh, MP or Sangeet Prabhakar Examination of Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad or equivalent qualification from other recognized institutions;  The following Degree/Diploma awarded by Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh will also be treated as equivalent qualification for the post of Music Teacher - Sangeet Bhaskar with Graduation in any discipline/ Sangeet/Nritya Bhushan with Graduation in any discipline/ Sangeet Bhushan with Sr.Secondary/ Intermediate/Part-I of 3 years Degree course/ Sangeet/Nritya Visharad with Sr.Sec./ Intermediate/ 3 years degree Part-I examination.
• Hindi Typist - Graduation in Arts/ Science/ Commerce /Management/ Computer Applications with First Class as declared by the University; Candidates should have studied Hindi as one of the subjects at Matriculation/ Degree level or passed either of the these examinations in Hindi medium; Hindi Typewriting speed @25 words per minute on Computer Knowledge in the use of Computers.

Age limit: 18-35 years as on February 4, 2013; 18-26 years for post of Hindi Typist; Relaxation in upper age limit by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates; Ex-servicemen and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) are eligible for upper age relaxation and reservation as per Government of India Orders.

Salary:

• Technical Assistant/ Scientific Assistant/ Trained Graduate Teacher – Pay band of `9300-34800 and GP of `4600
• Primary Teacher – Pay band of `9300-34800 and GP of `4200
• Hindi Typist – Pay band of `5200-20200 and GP of `2400
