Recruitment against Sports Quota in the Office of the Accountant General (A&E), Jharkhand

Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for recruitment of meritorious sports persons for the Post of Auditor/Accountant (Group-C) against Sports Quota in the Office of the Accountant General (A&E) – Jharkhand, Ranchi and the Office of the Principal Accountant General (Audit) – Jharkhand, Ranchi.

Sports discipline and vacancies: Football (Male) – 3; Hockey (Male) – 3 (Goalkeeper-1). (Station for all the vacancies is Ranchi)

Salary: Pay Band-1 `5200-20200 plus Grade Pay of `2800

Eligibility:

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University. The persons selected for the post of Auditor will have to qualify the Departmental Confirmatory Test for Auditor/ Accountant within two years of their appointment. Failure to pass the examination will render them liable for discharge from service.
• Sportspersons who have represented a State/Country in a National/International competition in any of the Games/Sports mentioned above under the Sports discipline for vacancy.
• Sportspersons who have represented the University in Inter-University Tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Board in any of the Games/Sports mentioned above under the Sports discipline for vacancy.
• Sportspersons who have represented the State School Teams in the National Sports/Games for Shools conducted by the All India School Games Federation in any of the Games/Sports mentioned above under the Sports discipline for vacancy.

Age limit: 18 to 27 years of age as on the closing date of receipt of application forms. Age relaxation of maximum 5 years (10 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 8 years in case of OBC candidates) for sportspersons satisfying all other eligibility conditions relating to education, etc.
