Delhi Police invites applications from Indian nationals for 1088 posts of Temporary Constable (Executive) - Male and Constable (Dog Handler) - Male.

Position and vacancies:

• Constable (Executive)-Male – 1045 posts (523-UR, 284-OBC, 159-SC, 79-ST)
• Constable (Dog-handler)-Male – 43 posts (21-UR, 12-OBC, 6-SC, 4-ST)

Eligibility: Passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) from a recognized Board at the time of filling up the application form. 11^th pass for Constables (Bandsmen/ Buglers/ Mounted/ Drivers/ Dispatch Riders/ etc.) of Delhi Police and sons of either serving, retired or deceased Delhi Police personnel/multi-tasking staff of Delhi. All candidates applying for the post of Constable (Executive) must possess a valid driving licence for LMV (motor cycle and car).

Age limit: 18 to 21 years as on January 1, 2013; age concession applicable as per rules.

Salary: Pay scale of `5200-20200 in pay band 1 with grade pay of `2000 and other allowances as admissible.

• The application form can be taken from the vacancy advertisement published in Employment News dated January 26, 2013.
• The application form can be downloaded from the website – www.delhipolice.nic.in or www.delhipolicerecruitment.nic.in
• Application form can also be typed/ photocopied on A4 size paper as per the format taken from either of the above mentioned sources.
• Application fee of `100 in the form of Demand Draft/ Bank Draft/ Banker’s Cheque drawn in favour of ‘DCP/ Recruitment Cell, New police Lines, Delhi’. SC/ST/ex-serviceman candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
• The application form should be sent through ordinary post only at the following address – Post Box. No. 8020, Delhi – 110033.
