The Division of Vegetable Science, Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi invites candidates for walk-in-interview for the position of Post Doctoral Fellow (PDF), Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and Junior Research Fellow (JRF) on purely contractual/temporary basis.

Eligibility:

• PDF – Ph.D. degree in Vegetable Breeding/Horticulture/Plant Breeding and Genetics//Plant Biotechnology/Life Sciences/ Botany/ Plant Sciences with research work related to breeding/Molecular breeding/Transformation in vegetable crops; NET qualified and knowledge/experience in application of molecular markers for marker assisted selection. Desirable: Knowledge/experience in transformation techniques and PCR based molecular techniques, and working experience in Computer Applications
• SRF - M.Sc. degree in Vegetable Science/Olericulture/Horticulture/Plant Breeding and Genetics/Botany/Seed Science/Plant Science with research work related to breeding/production technology of vegetable crops. Desirable: Experience of conducting breeding trials and handling breeding segregating generation in vegetable crops/molecular markers, working experience in Computer Applications, and NET qualifications.
• JRF - M.Sc. degree in Vegetable Science/Olericulture/Horticulture/Plant Breeding/Botany/Seed Science with research work related to breeding/production technology of vegetable crops. Desirable: Experience of conducting field trials for developing DUS testing guidelines in vegetable crops, working experience in Computer Applications, and NET qualifications.

Age limit: Upper age limit is 35 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST and women candidates is 5years; for OBC candidates is 3 years.

Fellowship amount: `12000 + HRA p.m. for SRF/JRF and `18000 + HRA p.m. for PDA.
