Eligibility: Full time Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE in relevant discipline with not less than 65% marks in aggregate.

Age limit: Maximum age of 27 years as on January 1, 2013

How to apply:

• Candidates should apply for GATE-2013 at http://gateapp.iitb.ac.in.
• Apply online for the vacancy at the NTPC’s website separately at www.ntpccareers.net  clearly mentioning your GATE-2013 registration number.
• The application fee is `150 for General/OBC candidates. No such fee is required to be paid by the SC/ST/PWD candidates. The fee is to be deposited with the State Bank of India using the ‘pay-in-slip’ available at the application registration portal.

Online registration of application at NTPC website can be done between December 1, 2012 and December 31, 2012.
