IIM, Bangalore announces admission to PG Programme in Public Policy and Management 2013

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore invites applications for admission to the Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy and Management (PGPPM) - 2013.

The programme focuses on professionals from ‘other than government’ sectors from NGOs, consultancy firms, international agencies, public sector units, social and infrastructure sectors, and other service sectors as well as the ‘government candidates’ from All India Services and Civil Services.

Eligibility:

• For Open Candidates from ‘other than government sectors’ the eligibility criteria is graduation with minimum 5 years of work experience. Selection for such candidates is on the basis of CAT-2012/GMAT or GRE scores obtained between December 1, 2010 and December 31, 2012.
• The ‘Government Candidates’ should be from All India Services or Group A Civil Services or Engineering Services with minimum 7 years of work experience.

Age Limit: The age limit for ‘open candidates’ is maximum 40 years as on June 1, 2013 and for ‘government candidates’ is 50 years as on June 1, 2013.

How to apply:

• Interested candidates should register online on the IIM-B website at www.iimb.ernet.in/pgppm providing all the necessary details.
• The application fee for ‘open candidates’ applying with GMAT/GRE scores is `1500 and for candidates applying with CAT-2011 scores is `500. There is no application fee for ‘government sponsored candidates’.
• The application fee should be paid online through the payment gateway while submitting the application form.

Last date for submitting the application forms is January 31, 2013.
