The Indian
Institute of Science Education and Research - Thiruvananthapuram (IISER TVM)
invites applications from Architects/Interior Designers for appointment on
contract basis, for the interior designing works of its campus buildings at
Vithura, 40 km from Thiruvananthapuram. The campus comprises of Academic
Buildings with Laboratories and Lecture Halls, Library, Hostels and Dining
Hall, Offices, Indoor Stadium, Residential Complex and other buildings, spread
out in a 200 acre fully contoured land. The scope and nature of the project
make it a highly interesting and challenging project for Architects/Interior
Designers.
Position
and vacancies: Architect
(Specialization: Interior designing) – 1 post (unreserved) and Junior Architect
– 1 post (unreserved)
Eligibility:
- Architect -- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent) from a recognized university/institute with 5 years experience in designing and planning interior works for reputed organizations in an independent capacity. Exposure to planning of interiors of laboratory and institutional spaces will be an additional qualification.
- Junior Architect -- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent from a recognized university/institute preferably with 1 year experience working with a reputed architectural firm. Preference will be given to candidates having exposure to interior designing.
Salary:
Architect
-- consolidated pay in the range of `40000 to `50000
p.m.; Junior Architect -- consolidated pay in the range of `25000
to `30000 p.m.
