Recruitment of Constables (GD) in CAPFs and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, 2013

Staff Selection Commission invites applications for recruitment to 17528 posts of Constable (GD) in Indo Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles. Female candidates will be considered for posts earmarked for them in different CAPFs.

The recruitment will comprise of Physical Standards Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Examination and Medical Examination.

Eligibility: Matriculation or 10th class pass is the minimum educational qualification.

Age limit: 18-23 years of age as o January 1, 2013. Age relaxation applicable as per rules.

Salary: Pay Band `5200-20200 plus grade pay `2000

• Fees of `50 is payable through CRF Stamp or SBI Challan or on-line payment through account with the State Bank of India.  Fee is exempted for all Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation.

Last date for receipt of applications is January 11, 2013.
