Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for recruitment of meritorious sports persons for the Post of Auditor/Accountant (Group-C) against Sports Quota in the Office of the Principal Accountant General (A&E) - West Bengal, Kolkata, the Office of the Principal Accountant General (Audit) - West Bengal, Kolkata and the Office of the Director General of Audit (Central), Kolkata.

Sports discipline and vacancies: Football (Male) – 2; Hockey (Male) – 3; Cricket (Male) – 4; Badminton (Male) – 2; Badminton (Female) – 1; Table Tennis (Male) – 2; Table Tennis (Female) – 1 (Station-Kolkata for all vacancies).

Salary: Pay Band-1 `5200-20200 plus Grade Pay of `2800

Eligibility:

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University. The persons selected for the post of Auditor will have to qualify the Departmental Confirmatory Test for Auditor within two years of their appointment. Failure to pass the examination will render them liable for discharge from service.
• Sportspersons who have represented a State/Country in a National/International competition in any of the Games/Sports mentioned above under the Sports discipline for vacancy.
• Sportspersons who have represented the University in Inter-University Tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Board in any of the Games/Sports mentioned above under the Sports discipline for vacancy.
• Sportspersons who have represented the State School Teams in the National Sports/Games for Shools conducted by the All India School Games Federation in any of the Games/Sports mentioned above under the Sports discipline for vacancy.

Age limit: 18 to 27 years of age as on the closing date of receipt of application forms. Age relaxation of maximum 5 years (10 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 8 years in case of OBC candidates) for sportspersons satisfying all other eligibility conditions relating to education, etc.
