Position and vacancies:

• NWR-1: Assistant Plant Protection Officer (Chemistry) in the Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine and Storage – 34 posts (17-UR, 09-OBC, 05-SC, 03-ST)
• NWR-2: Zoological Assistant in the O/o Zoological Survey of India, Kolkata – 2 posts (UR)
• NWR-3: Senior Technical Assistant (Chemical) in the O/o Central Ground Water Board – 2 posts (UR)
• NWR-4: Senior Technical Assistant in the O/o CSBF Hissar in Ministry of Agriculture – 1 post (UR)

Eligibility:

• NWR-1: Assistant Plant Protection Officer -- M.Sc. Degree in Agricultural Chemistry or M.Sc. Degree in chemistry with specialization in Organic or Analytical Chemistry from a  recognized University or Institute.
• NWR-2: Zoological Assistant -- Second Class B.Sc. (Hons) or B.Sc. with Zoology with not less than 55% of marks in aggregate. Experience in arranging zoological exhibits of a museum/experience in field collections of exhibits and aptitude in systematic zoology.
• NWR-3: Senior Technical Assistant (Chemical) Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Agricultural Chemistry or Soil Science from a recognized University or Institute or equivalent with two years experience in Ground Water analysis and Ground Water Chemistry.
• NWR-4: Senior Technical Assistant -- Degree in Agriculture of a recognized university or equivalent with about 2 years experience in raising forage crops/pastures.

Age limit:

• NWR-1: Assistant Plant Protection Officer -- Not exceeding 30 years. (Relaxable by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC & ST candidates )(Upper Age limit is also relaxable upto 5 years for Central Govt. Civilian Employees)
• NWR-2: Zoological Assistant -- 18- 25 years (Relaxation up to 35 years for Central Govt. Civilian Employees)
• NWR-3: Senior Technical Assistant (Chemical)/NWR-4: Senior Technical Assistant -- Not Exceeding 30 years (Relaxation for Central Govt. Employees by 5 years)
• Salary:
• NWR-1: Assistant Plant Protection Officer/ NWR-2: Zoological Assistant/ NWR-4: Senior Technical Assistant -- `9300-34800 with G.P. `4200
• NWR-3: Senior Technical Assistant (Chemical) -- `9300-34800 with G.P. `4600

How to apply:

• Application fees of `50 is to be paid only by way of CRFS. . No fee for SC/ST/female/physically handicapped/ex-servicemen candidates.
• Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format.
