Eligibility:

• Junior Engineers-IT/Civil/Electrical (Vidyut Sahayak) -- XII Std. passed with minimum 60% for Unreserved  category candidates and minimum 55% for Reserved category candidates with first attempt.B.E./B.Tech (IT/Computer/Civil/Electrical as relevant) from recognized University of India approved by AICTE with minimum 60% for Unreserved category candidates and minimum 55% for Reserved category candidates in all semesters with first Trial without ATKT (Passed in first attempt).
• Gujarati Stenographer (Vidyut Sahayak) -- Graduate in any discipline from recognized University with minimum 55% for General category candidates and 50% for Reserved category candidates with first trial without ATKT(Passed in First attempt), possess the G.C.C. (Government Commercial Certificate) speed of not less than 60 Words Per Minute in Gujarati shorthand and 25 Words Per Minute in Gujarati Typing (Preference will be given to those candidates who is having additional qualification of English Typing, speed not less than40 W.P.M.) and should possess basic knowledge of computer applications.

Age limit: Junior Engineers-IT/Civil/Electrical (Vidyut Sahayak) – not less than18 years and not more than 30 years of age; Gujarati Stenographer (Vidyut Sahayak) – not less than 18 years and not more than 25 years of age (as on December 24, 2012).
